Shoot hoops, picnic, and play hockey or tennis at this 25.6-acre park, built in 1965 in cooperation with Hatfield Borough, to create a recreational hub for township and borough residents. Through the years, the Park has improved with age, and now also hosts Hatfield Township's Hatfield Aquatic Center and its Dog Park. The 1 1/2-mile Chestnut Street Trail passes directly through the heart of this Park, showcasing its many features, which are detailed below. This park is the site of Hatfield Township's Summer Rec Program, which has kept children active in summer games, sports, crafts and enrichment activities for three generations. The diversity of its offerings make it a popular place all four seasons of the year. |
