That's all - back to the fun!
A picnic table and resting benches support visitors looking for peaceful pause at this small public park area, on Lenhart Road near the intersection with Route 309. The land was deeded as public open space to Hatfield Township by the federal government, after waters from the adjacent West Branch Neshaminy Creek flooded the land and the private home that had been there. Structural improvements are restricted to those on land close to Lenhart Road. A goal is to create a shallow basin toward the rear of the property, designed to contain rainwater in the winter months that will freeze into an ice skating area.
